Freedom Financial Planners ("we," "us") publishes the Social Security Optimizer app ("the app"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
The app collects nothing. Everything you enter stays on your device.
None. The app has no user accounts and does not require sign-in. The figures you enter — such as birth dates, estimated benefit amounts, and income — are stored only locally on your device (in the app's own storage) so the app can remember your inputs between sessions. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
Your inputs are used solely on your device to calculate the estimates the app displays. We have no access to them.
The app does not track you, does not use advertising identifiers, and includes no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
The app performs its calculations entirely offline. The only time it connects to the internet is when you tap a link — for example, the "Schedule a review" button, which opens our scheduling page (Calendly) in your browser, or the privacy-policy link. Those external services have their own privacy policies. We do not pass any of your in-app data to them.
Because your data never leaves your device, you are in full control of it. Deleting the app removes all stored inputs. You can also reset your inputs at any time from within the app.
The app is intended for adults planning for retirement and is not directed to children under 13.
The app provides educational estimates only and is not financial, tax, or legal advice. It does not guarantee any benefit amount. Actual Social Security benefits are determined by the Social Security Administration.
