This Privacy Policy explains how the MilRetire Pro mobile application ("the App"), published by Freedom Financial Planners ("we," "us"), handles your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
MilRetire Pro is an offline planning tool. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The App has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
None. The App does not collect personal data of any kind.
The figures you enter — such as years of service, basic pay, VA disability rating, dependents, and ages — are stored only on your device (using Apple's standard on-device storage) so the calculators stay populated between sessions. This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or any third party, and is removed if you delete the App.
The numbers you enter are used solely on your device to perform the retirement, VA disability, concurrent receipt, survivor benefit, healthcare, and buyback estimates the App provides. There is no server component.
The App functions entirely offline. The only outbound action is optional: if you tap “Book a free strategy call,” the App opens a scheduling page (Calendly) in your web browser. Any information you provide on that page is governed by the privacy policies of Calendly and Freedom Financial Planners, not by the App. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your information, because we do not collect or receive it.
The App is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Because your inputs remain on your device and are never transmitted, they are protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and iOS data protection).
MilRetire Pro provides estimates for general planning and educational purposes only. It is not financial, tax, legal, or VA-benefits advice. Benefit amounts depend on official determinations and current law. Verify any figure with the appropriate authority (e.g., DFAS, the VA, or a qualified advisor) before making decisions.
